Dirtsheet or Dirt Shit?

Postby rangerrick012 » Fri Mar 09, 2012 12:59 am

OK so I gotta admit I kinda poached this idea from this week's free WV podcast (and by kinda I mean completely stole. Gimmick infringement FTW.)

Basically, post a 'report' from a dirtsheet (not wrestleview.com since this is the home of fine and upstanding reporting ;)) and let fellow Wrestleviewers reply if they think it's DIRTSHEET TROOF or TOTAL DIRTSHIT!

I'll start...

I call bullshit on that one. Surely a man of the Rocks calibre doesn't need wrist notes.

I'll post a couple more here to see if they hold up...they actually aren't that farfetched though.

- As we've been reporting, John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long are expected to form two teams to square off at WrestleMania, with the permanent GM position of both RAW and SmackDown on the line. Alex Riley hinted at the match on his Twitter, writing, "I love what Teddy Long has been doin, wish him the best at WrestleMania.. #RileyOnTeamLong" Laurinaitis and Long are expected to announce some of the members of their teams this Monday night.

- Word is that The Rock and John Cena will not have any physical contact until the March 26th RAW Supershow, the final show before WrestleMania 28.

Why don't we just put a link to the Bleacher Report up and call it a day?

More dirtsheet or dirtshit!

WWE is hoping Wade Barrett will be back by July so he can be advertised prominently for SummerSlam according to PWInsider.com.

Before Barrett went down with an injury, he was scheduled to win Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 28 and eventually challenge CM Punk for the WWE Title.

According to reports, the Money in the Bank match may be moved to SummerSlam this year just so Barrett can win it and begin his long awaited push.

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/251385- ... summerslam

I call bullshit. 1 why would Barrett have challenged Punk and not Sheamus? 2 it's already been stated that the MITB was never planned at WM in the first place, so this is just building bullshit on top of bullshit. And 3 they already announced the MITB PPV will be back, so this guy expects them to have a MITB match at SS just for Barrett to win it, instead of, I dunno, just giving him a fucking push without needing the MITB win!? Retarded report all around.

Report: The Very Latest on A-Train's WWE Return Status

Despite denying that he will be returning to WWE, the latest on Matt Bloom's (aka A-Train) status is that according to 4 sources within WWE, he will indeed be returning, and he is likely set for a big push upon his return to the company. A-Train commented on the return rumor on Twitter yesterday, saying that he didn't know it got started, and that it's "comical." However, according to new reports, talk within WWE for the past couple months has been that Bloom would be returning, and there was said to be backstage talk about is return at the Montreal house show event Friday night.

As far as Bloom's push is concerned, it's being said that creative has been talking about having him return as a top henchman for John Laurinaitis, and there was even talk of having him feud with John Cena after WrestleMania, although that idea seems to have been shelved for the moment.

I love how the dirtsheets don't even try to back their story up with a semi-logical explanation. Just: ''yeah - sources say he's coming''.

WWE is looking to announce the main event for WrestleMania 29 possibly on the RAW Supershow the night after WrestleMania 28. WWE officials are expecting the RAW after WrestleMania 28 will be the highest-rated of the year.

Right now they are looking at John Cena, The Rock, Steve Austin and The Undertaker as the top guys to build next year around. As far as Austin is concerned, he has not committed to wrestling another match yet but he has been open to a return match if the situation is right.

Gonna say shit. To say that not one single person that they've been putting company resources behind is even CONSIDERED as a top guy to build around is idiotic.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Brock Lesnar is in Miami and has signed a one-year deal with WWE. The report suggested that he arrived with security and a large group of people shielding him.

It is also being reported that Fit Finlay is back with the WWE as well. He is in Miami this weekend along with Terry Taylor as reported on Friday.

Gerwick doesn't have his Adam Martin filter in this weekend....

Doesn't mean it is or isn't true. Just that Mom's not home to put a hold on any of that dirty speculation
