"Meet the Browns" is a sitcom developed by Tyler Perry, which premiered on Wednesday, January 7, 2009[1] on TBS. It is made in the model of his play and film of the same name. The show stars David Mann and Tamela Mann, who starred in the earlier stage play and motion picture.
Cast David Mann as Leroy Brown: Mr. Brown is in his mid ‘60s, and he's a church deacon who's very proud about being saved. He is widowed with one brother, one sister and a daughter, Cora Simmons, as a result of a one-night stand on prom night with Mabel Simmons. He’s caring and giving, and his simple mix-up of words often leaves people in stitches, though Cora is famous for correcting his hilarious mispronunciations. His style of dress, high-pitched voice, and bigger-than-life faith in God create the wonderfully funny jokes that embody the essence of Mr. Brown. Tamela Mann as Cora Simmons: Cora Simmons is in her late ‘40s, and she's a single mother of 2 girls. Cora's is the daughter of Mr. Brown, and therefor she must be a praying woman and very active in her church. But don’t cross her - she might use her fist instead of her “anointed touch”. Denise Boutte as Nurse Sasha Brown: Sasha is in her late 20’s, and was in an abusive relationship with the father of her five-year-old son, but she's now married and working alongside her husband Will Brown. Lamman Rucker as Dr. Will Brown: Will Brown is in his early ‘30s, and he's a gynecologist who’s married with two kids. He is Mr. Brown’s nephew and helps out by providing free medical services to the residents of Mr. Brown's home.

I have been tuning into Tyler Perry's house of payne but after finding out about Meet the Browns, I wonder if it's any good? I've seen a few episodes of the white hair guy that was a bit annoying on House of Payne, but I don't have TBS to watch it because I got Peachtree TV eventully It will go on Peachtree TV in the future for Reruns or on TV Series DVD Sets
